Ground Floor

...Slightly recovered really. I feel alot better. For awhile there I just didn't want to get out of bed. I had a touch of the flu, but I think I put out the flames before I was overtaken with sickness. I had fever and sweats and I missed two days of work, but tomorrow I'm back to the grind and I'm not looking forward to it. I still have some sinus pressure but at least I can smell somewhat again. It's kinda weird how when you lose a sense and then get it back how great it is. Like when you have a cold and you can't smell anything and then it finally comes back and you smell that first aroma of fresh brewed coffee, or cookies, or grilled chicken, or sweaty balls. It's a thrill. Joking!

So the 7th is Bobby's and my anniversary. We met scandalously on the internet cruising gay.com and hooked up and have been together ever since our first meeting February 7th 2000. Our first relations took place this day, the actual dating took place a few weeks after, but the relations were the starting point so that's what we celebrate. So it's hard to believe. We've lived together only 3 years though. We took that part slow, which was a smart move I think. We've been together through alot and I really do love him alot. It's so strange. I never really thought when I came out that things would work out this way so early in my life. I thought I would be alone forever because I was gay and I really thought no one else was like me. But it slapped me around the other way and it's been good. I think wood is the traditional gift. So I want new hardwood floors. Is that too much to ask? Or Danny Wood he would also do.
